This bulky volume weighs in at 568 pages and certainly represents excellent value.
Patterson claims in his introduction that it is 'the first short-story anthology of thrillers
ever done' and adds that it is also the first publication of International Thriller Writers
Inc. Each of the contributions benefits from a short and informative introduction and
the authors represented include Lee Child, Denise Hamilton and Gayle Lynds. As is
sometimes the case with anthologies, it is a rather uneven collection, but anyone with
a taste for thrillers is bound to find something here to relish.
