The Thirteen Problems by
Agatha Christie

The facsimile cover of this short story collection is hardly dazzling in its originality: it
simply depicts the masked Collins Crime Club gunman in triplicate, on a plain green
background. But the excellence of the stories more than compensates. There are
several minor masterpieces here, especially among the first half dozen tales, including
a neat lawyer's tale, 'Motive v. Opportunity'. Miss Marple is on top form here.
