The rapidly increasing popularity of Pawson's Charlie Priest books has prompted his
publishers to reprint the whole series. This is a very welcome development, given that
the scarcity of the original editions has turned them into collector's items, changing
hands for eye-watering sums on the internet. In this 1999 title, Charlie finds that old
sins cast long shadows. Enjoyable.
