enjoyable detective story. Miss Marple has ventured further from home than ever, but
as usual, when she is around, murder is not far away. The setting in the Caribbean
may be unfamiliar in the Christie canon, but the plot makes effective use of
relationship tangles that were meat and drink to Dame Agatha. Miss Marple is on top
form here.
