This is the story of Charles Cullen, who killed as many as forty patients
between 1988 and 2003 in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Many were
seriously ill but others were expected to recover, including author Zach T
Martin's mother, Eleanor. Most of the victims died after being given a
single drug overdose, but some had to be injected multiple times by the
death-obsessed Cullen, who liked to kill other nurses' patients to allay
any blame.
Death Angel looks briefly at Charles Cullen's unhappy childhood and
gives an impressive amount of detail about his dysfunctional adult
relationships, his crimes and trials.
