One More for the Road
The `Master of Storytelling’ treats us to eighteen brand-new stories and seven more previously published but never before collected. Tales of abandoned places and betrayed love; of a house where time has no boundaries; of a faraway planet plagued by an epidemic of sorrow; a wheat field that hides a strangely welcome enemy; the ghosts of dear friends, of errant sons and lost fathers. These are but a few of the ingredients that have gone into Bradbury’s savoury cocktail.
One More For The Road is a superb refreshment served with wit, heart and flair by the incomparable Ray Bradbury.

From the Dust Returned
In the attic where the rain touched the roof softly on spring days and where you could feel the mantle of snow outside, a few inches away, on December nights, a thousand-time great grandmere existed. She did not live, nor was she eternally dead, she… existed
She is the grandmother of the Elliott family, which includes mind-readers, vampires and many others ...maybe. In a strange old house, they gradually come together, mixing their arcane skills and life-styles, falling in and out of love and changing the world around them forever.
You have never seen their like before.
Ray Bradbury, doyen of fantastical fiction, has written his first novel for many years, telling tales of the Elliotts, about whom he has written for decades. Tales of their genesis and demise, their adventures and mishaps, their loves and their sorrows. Welcome to the world of a master storyteller at the height of his powers.

Something Wicked This Way Comes
It was just after midnight when the carnival train bringing Cooger & Dark’s Pandemonium Shadow Show to Green Town, Illinois announced its arrival, the engine’s whistle shrieking, the show’s steam organ playing. For two young friends, Jim Nightshade and Will Halloway, the siren call of the carnival is irresistible. But these are no ordinary sideshows, no ordinary mazes and mirrors. In Ray Bradbury’s incomparable masterpiece the Shadow Show has come to destroy every life it touches with its sinister mysteries.
