The Eye of Eternity
The dramatic conclusion to Maggie Furey’s spellbinding epic fantasy
Book Three of the Shadowleague
The Curtain Walls safeguarding the kingdoms of Myrial tremble on the point of collapse. If they fall, the world will fall with them.
Its fate lies in the hands of the Shadowleague, but they have been shaken to the core by the return of the renegade Amaurn. Claiming what he believes to be his rightful place - at the head of the Shadowleague - the man who long ago betrayed the Loremasters must first persuade them to follow him. He has already deposed the Archimandrite, but now a greater challenge awaits - and his sinister past is far from forgotten.
In the kingdom of Callisiora, in the mountain city of Tiarond, those who managed to survive the vicious attack of the winged Ak’Zahar remain trapped in the Temple. The new Hierarch, Gilarra, knows that time is fast running out for her and her people. Unaware of the great catastrophe that threatens to tear Myrial apart, only a miracle can save them.
The Eye Of Eternity is the triumphant final volume in a magical fantasy trilogy from a writer whose characters and storytelling skills have captured the imagination of readers across the world.
‘One of the few truly compelling fantasy sagas of recent years’ SFX
‘Rich, colourful, infinitely enchanting’ David Gemmell
‘A new classic’ Locus
'Furey's prose is fluent and deceptively relaxed, and her twisting plot keeps the pages turning rapidly' Starburst

Spirit of the Stone
Book Two of the Shadowleague
As the Curtain Walls across Myrial continue to fail, the threat of war grows even greater. But the Shadowleague, the council responsible for peace and order, is beginning to tear itself apart. If this occurs, any hope of avoiding the deepening crisis will be destroyed. And as the divisions spread, the ruthless and enigmatic Lord Blade rallies his supporters, waiting for his chance to take over.
To prevent catastrophe, Loremaster Veldan must persuade Zavahl, the tortured former Hierarch, to open his mind and unlock the knowledge of Aethon the Dragon Seer. With the fate of the world hanging on a half-remembered tale from long ago, Veldan, the firedrake Kazairl and their companions must travel down a dark and dangerous road. One that will lead them beneath the beleaguered city of Tiarond, deep within the mountain’s living core where the secrets of the past lie buried.
