Volume One
With Kevin O'Neill, Ben Dimagmaliw and Bill Oakely
A rousing work of adventure by the esteemed author of From Hell and the acclaimed illustrator of Marshal Law
London, 1898. The Victorian Era draws to a close and the twentieth century approaches. It is a time of great change and an age of stagnation, a period of chaste order and ignoble chaos. It is an era in need of champions.
Allan Quatermain, Captain Nemo, Hawley Griffin, Dr. Henry Jekyll, Mr. Edward Hyde, and Mina Murray are those champions, and together they comprise the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
Recruited by the enigmatic Campion Bond, under orders from the mysterious ‘M,’ these six adventurers are pressed into service by their empire in its time of need. Now they must face the nefarious Doctor arid his vile plan for world domination. But things are not entirely as they seem; other factors, cryptic and corpuscular, are also at play. A remarkable drama ensues. The Distinguished Authors
Mr. Alan Moore, author and former circus exhibit (as ‘The What-Is-It from Borneo’), is chiefly famed for his chapbooks produced with the younger reader in mind. He astounded the Penny Dreadful world with such noted pamphlets as ‘A Child’s Garden of Venereal Horrors’ (1864), and ‘Cocaine and Rowing: The Sure way to Health’ (1872) before inheriting a Cumbrian jute mill and, in 1904, expiring of Scorn.
Mr Kevin O’Neill commenced his career as a pugilist in 1859. Due to excessive drinking and repeated cerebral splintering during an early bout with Walter Phibbs, the Widnes Goliath, O’Neill passed into an insensible state from which he was never fully to awaken. However, in 1885, doctors discovered that by attaching galvanizing cables directly to the comatose prize-fighter’s brain, his right hand could be made to delineate exquisite and fanciful illustrations.

With John Totleben, Rick Veitch and Alfredo Alcala
Earth to Earth… Ashes to Ashes…
‘We have been separated too long, and when the storm was at its worst I feared I would not see her again.’
Having witnessed the cataclysmic confrontation between dark and light, Swamp Thing realizes that all reality has changed. But one driving desire remains in his heart: returning to his wife, Abby. Unbeknownst to Swamp Thing, back in Louisiana his marriage to Abby has been exposed and has resulted in her being arrested for ‘a sexual crime against the laws of nature’. Alone and uncertain of her beloved husband’s fate, Abby chooses to flee Louisiana and seek refuge on the shadowy streets of Gotham City, where her circumstances draw the attention of Gotham’s Dark Knight – Batman! When Abby is taken into custody by Gotham’s finest, Swamp Thing is drawn into a war for her freedom against Batman and all the forces of Gotham City – a battle that breaks Swamp Thing’s bond to the planet earth and leaves him on a mysterious planet of blue, in the timeless tale ‘My Blue Heaven’.
This classic saga by the legendary creative team of Alan Moore, John Totleben, Rick Veitch and Alfredo Alcala continues the evolution of Swamp Thing from a mire-dwelling, man-monster into an elemental being with power that exceeds the bonds of the earth itself.
Inspired by the creation of writer Len Wein and artist Berni Wrightson, Alan Moore’s reinvention of Swamp Thing marked a high point in the history of graphic storytelling. Moore took the character to new heights in the 1980s with his unique narrative approach, and his provocative and often groundbreaking writing – combined with masterly artwork by some of the medium’s top artists – made Swamp Thing one of the great comics of the late twentieth century. Swamp Thing: Earth to Earth collects six classic issues from Moore’s award-winning run on the titles: Swamp Thing #51-56.

Illustrated by Gene Ha and Jose Villarrubia
Imagine a city where every citizen, from poorest slum-dweller to corporate honcho, has unusual powers and abilities – not to mention an alter ego and costume. How would you police such a city? Join the unusual law force of Neopolis on their day-to-day rounds and find out!
The massive, multilayered city of Neopolis, built shortly after World War II, was designed as a home for the expanding population of science-heroes, heroines and villains that had ballooned into existence in the previous decade. Bringing these powered beings together solved some problems but created others, especially after the inevitable partnerships led to a surge in their numbers in the 1960s. By the 1980s, Neopolis had turned into a pressure cooker - under financed and overpopulated - that normal policing methods could never hope to contain.
In 1985 the city accepted jurisdiction by a police force covering many alternate Earths, headquartered on the world known as ‘Grand Central.’ Our own outpost of this network, Precinct Ten (known affectionately as Top 10), recruits its members from Neopolis and environs, working much like Earth’s other police precincts, with one major exception: like the citizens of the city, the officers of Top 10 have the abilities needed to deal with Neopolis’s exotic denizens.
Join a colorful collection of Top 10 officers as they investigate a variety of events, from traffic accidents to treachery, and face their greatest challenge: an attack inside the heart of precinct headquarters! Solving these crimes will lead to other worlds and deep into the hidden corruptions of Neopolis, in a finale you won’t soon forget.

Gene Ha is the finishing artist and co creator of Top 10 and resents being called a tracer. At least he isn’t wanted by the Wisconsin Highway Patrol. Previously he has worked on such titles as The Adventures Of Cyclops And Phoenix, Oktane and The Shade, but nothing matches the thrill of working on Top 10. He lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota with his lovely wife and two beagle-bassets.
Zander Cannon, layout artist for Top 10, is the creator of The Replacement God, and has worked recently on projects for the Minnesota Orchestra and the NOAH Space Environment Center. He is currently penciling and inking a Smax miniseries written by Alan Moore. Newly married, he and his lovely wife Julie live and work in Minneapolis.

The Eisner and Harvey Award-winning Collection
What sort of tales will tomorrow bring? Jack B. Quick’s quirky science in rural Queerwater, Kansas; Greyshirt and Cobweb’s murder, mayhem and mystery in Indigo City; First American and U.S. Angel’s madcap mockery across the country and Splash Brannigan’s ink-stained adventures in Coffeeburg, all skillfully told by some of America’s Best creators in this unique new anthology!
Writer Alan Moore has gathered a stellar group of artists to participate in this celebrated collection.
Kevin Nowlan delineates the odd genius of Jack B. Quick, whose inventions terrorize his family and neighbors in one experiment-gone-wrong after another.
Rick Veitch draws Greyshirt, man of mystery, in the grim, grimy streets of crime infested Indigo City, home of gangsters, maniacs and monsters.
Melinda Gebbie illustrates another side of the mauve metropolis with Cobweb, whose strangely enticing attitude leads her into the steamy side of crime-fighting and curious adventure.
Jim Baikie creates the manic world of The First American and U.S. Angel, taking a fractured look at American life and finding the humor in subjects both topical and nostalgic.
Hilary Barta brings to life the Indelible Avenger: Splash Brannigan, a comics hero with the urge to blot out crime, splattering everything else in his inky grasp with witty enthusiasm.
We invite you to sit back and enjoy these diverse tales in what Alan Moore has described as ‘a book of collected rustic dreams about technology, about civilization seen from far away.’ You’ll never again think about stories in quite the way you did yesterday!

Kevin Nowlan is a versatile artist who has won awards for his inking on Superman Vs. Aliens and Batman The Sword Of Azrael, and for the complete art on the Jack B. Quick stories in this book.
Rick Veitch has often collaborated with Alan Moore on projects like Swamp Thing and Supreme, as well as writing and drawing his own Bratpack, Maximortal and the Greyshirt: Indigo Sunset series.
Melinda Gebbie emerged from the underground comics scene in titles such as San Francisco Comics and Anarchy before pursuing animation work in England, and has teamed with Alan Moore on Supreme, Glory, 1963 and Lost Girls.
Jim Baikie first worked with Alan Moore on Skizz in 1983, and has drawn Electric Warrior, Star Wars and Deathblow: Byblows.
Hilary Barta’s stylish cartoon art has been seen on such features as Plastic Man, What The--?!, Radioactive Man and Stupid.
